The Amalfi Coast, In Bloom

7 nights
Overview

A slow week along the Tyrrhenian: cliffside terraces, private wooden boats, lemon groves in the hills above Ravello.

A curated week between Positano, Ravello, and the island of Capri. Mornings begin with espresso on your terrace and end with dinners arranged only for you — a chef's table above the sea, a private cellar dug into the cliffs. Every transfer, tender, and reservation is scored to the hour.

Day by day

A rhythm, unhurried.

Arrival in Positano
Day 1

Arrival in Positano

Private Mercedes transfer from Naples with a stop on the Sorrentine peninsula for a seaside lunch of just-caught fish. Check-in at Le Sirenuse, a welcome aperitivo of chilled Falanghina on the Champagne bar terrace, and a candlelit dinner at La Sponda beneath four hundred hand-lit candles.

The senses

Salt on the wind, wild fennel from the cliffs, the low hum of a single guitar drifting up from the beach as the sun drops behind Praiano.

Positano, unhurried
Day 2

Positano, unhurried

A slow morning of espresso on your terrace. A private walk through the vertical village with a local historian, ending at a family ceramics atelier where a set is fired for you. Afternoon swim from the hotel's beach club and dinner at a family trattoria known only to Positanesi.

The senses

Warm terracotta underfoot, the scent of jasmine trailing over pastel facades, the clink of ice in a Sirenuse Franciacorta at golden hour.

The coast by wooden gozzo
Day 3

The coast by wooden gozzo

A private captained gozzo — polished mahogany, no other guests — sails you toward Nerano for spaghetti alle zucchine at Lo Scoglio, feet dangling over the water. Afternoon anchored off the Li Galli islands for swimming and cold rosé from the cooler.

The senses

The slap of the hull on turquoise water, sea salt drying on skin, olive oil and lemon rising from a warm bowl of pasta.

Ravello, above the clouds
Day 4

Ravello, above the clouds

Chauffeured transfer up the switchbacks to Palazzo Avino. A private after-hours visit to Villa Cimbrone's gardens with the Terrace of Infinity opened just for you, followed by a chamber music evening arranged in your honor in a cliffside chapel.

The senses

Cool mountain air, distant church bells, wisteria in bloom against pale stone as the strings of a Vivaldi adagio float out over the sea.

The lemon groves & a chef's table
Day 5

The lemon groves & a chef's table

A morning in the terraced lemon groves above Amalfi with a fourth-generation grower. Learn to fold a proper limoncello, then descend to a Michelin-starred chef's table set in a private cellar carved into the cliff.

The senses

Sharp citrus oil on fingertips, the cool damp of tufa stone, candlelight refracting through a rare vertical of Fiano di Avellino.

Crossing to Capri
Day 6

Crossing to Capri

Speedboat crossing to Capri in the morning light. Check-in at J.K. Place, a private walk to the Gardens of Augustus before the day-trippers, and dinner at Da Paolino under a canopy of ripe lemon trees.

The senses

Sea spray, warm sun on the shoulders, the perfume of lemon leaves overhead and the murmur of Neapolitan spoken low at nearby tables.

The Faraglioni & farewell
Day 7

The Faraglioni & farewell

A morning aboard a private yacht around the Faraglioni, dropping into the Blue Grotto before it opens. A long, quiet lunch at a cliffside table, then a private transfer back to Naples for your onward journey.

The senses

The echo of oars inside a sapphire cave, the cool shock of a swim beneath the arch, salt still on your lips at the farewell table.
